Imagine having three life-coaches who had been through the toughest mental and physical challenges; a crack team of problem-solvers who knew in their day job that one mistake could be the difference between life - and death. And when Max locks eyes on the twenty-something in a tie-dye sweatsuit who pitches the idea of daydreaming all summer-he prepares to give this bad nanny the boot. On one hand, there’s Max, the single dad billionaire totally devoted to his daughter despite his huge responsabilities and heavy workload. I always love when I get both POVs and the way he loved Cozy had my heart melting this is my first book I read by this author and I'm hooked. Cozy Barlow is in the middle of her self-appointed 'gap year' and doing everything she can to detach from her past.

Max and Cozy are awesome together, and it was really refreshing to see a guy loving and embracing his girl's full figure. I thought her backstory was really unique and provided just enough angst to cause some friction between her and Max’s budding romance. And according to the residents of the Japanese island of Okinawa - the world's longest-living people - finding it is the key to a longer and more fulfilled life. She goes toe-to-toe with the hot doctor in the cafeteria she frequents and things escalate in ways they never expected. A beautiful, heartwarming, loving, steamy puzzle that will melt your heart and your Kindle, probably. Then he discovers she’s having similar fantasies and they decide to have a no strings fling for the duration of the summer. Max is trying to find a nanny for daughter for the summer (his ex wife is away working), and Cozy is the last on the list of interviews.

Cozy is a curvy heroine who loves and embraces her body, and Max definitely appreciates her curves too. When none of the interviewees are the right fit, the head of the nanny agency sends in her sister as a last ditch effort. For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. He’s currently busy at work with a possible merger that would potentially double the size of his franchise development corporation. There are some laugh out loud moment were Cozy decides that life is too short and she is going to just chill.

Her writing style, flawed yet sweet characters, progressive thinking and humour usually slap me right in the feels. I really liked seeing Cozy’s relationship with his daughter Everly, while her plan is to do “nothing” all summer, she really brings so much to Everly’s life and it was so cute and sweet seeing them bounce off one another. I've read romances that were total trash (I define this by zero effort, paint-by-numbers, author not even trying), this isn't trash (by my definition) because Daws obviously puts work into it, but I can't with the sexual dynamics here.Cozy is no young or timid heroine falling for the boss, she's a strong and independent woman who knows exactly what she's getting into. But like most dads, when his daughter instantly takes to Cozy he gives in and gives his daughter the nanny she wants!
