Like with most camping stoves, it's hard to get the Party Grill to cook well at a very low temperature for cooking low and slow, but for easy pot meals, BBQs or cooking up veggies in the wok, the Party Grill proved very effective. While its compact size means there isn't space to make huge grilled meals at once, the Party Grill 400 is ideal for feeding four or five people. If you do want something a bit roomier, a larger 600 version of the Party Grill is available and has taller legs, but is still pleasingly portable. Ideally, when camping, you want the same bit of kit to do many different things to reduce the amount of stuff you need to take.At first glance, the Campingaz Party Grill look surprisingly small – but don't be fooled by its compact appearance. This nifty design is more than just a stove: lift the lid (which doubles up as a wok) and inside there are separate, interchangeable grills, griddles and stove tops to cook on. My Party Grill 400 worked perfectly last year. This year, with the same half-full gas bottle, and no adjustments to anything, the flame burns more red, and leaves sooty deposits on the underside of all cooking surfaces.

So, what do you get? Well, it comes in a large box, and a little bit of assembly is required. Watch our video below that shows how to assemble the Party Grill. Dishwasher safe + Water compartment- easy to clean, with a compartment for catching fat and grease, to allow for easy cleaning. One thing I love about the Party Grill is the piezo ignition, which means you don’t need matches or a lighter to get it started. Every year, no matter how many lighters or matches we take with us, our camping trips always seem to end with all 10-15 of us sharing one lighter - a nightmare!The Sierra Designs 800 20 is all designed to make nights in the great outdoors more comfortable – no zips required! Given the opportunity, we love to cook by flame when outdoors. Unfortunately, that's not always possible or practical.
