About this deal

The so-called Monkey Mayhem performance is described thusly: “Escaped from the circus these trio of acrobatic Monkey’s are causing havoc across town [sic]. They climb, they roll they tumble, but nothing makes them go bananas like being mischievous and having a good laugh. The graphic “Monkey Mayem” performance on Saturday was put on by the London-based Mandinga Arts carnival group. Following widespread condemnation for hosting such lewd content at a children’s event, Redbridge Libraries said in a statement: “During an event put on at the library today there was a performance by a Carnival Arts Company. Unfortunately one of the animal costumes was inappropriate which we were not aware of at the time of booking. Mandinga claims that their public performances are “are guaranteed fun for family audiences wherever they pop up.”

The event was part of a “ Summer Reading Challenge” in partnership with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for a “very special nature-themed Challenge that will inspire you to stand up for the planet.” According to Batman's co-creator Bob Kane, he based the concept behind Batman's cape functionality on the "flying machine" schematics designed by Italian artist and inventor Leonardo da Vinci. [74] Additionally, Batman made a fire resistant versions of the batsuit. The first model of this suit was made of asbestos, [16] but later versions were made of nomex [17] and could withstand fiery explosions. [18] Occasionally, Batman would wear a helmet with an incorporated rebreather to withstand fires. [19]

There was only one thing wrong: they weren't afraid of me. I've got to strike fear into them from the start. — Bruce Wayne src

Michael Rapaport Rips Left’s Push for ‘Ceasefire’: ‘Hamas Doesn’t Give a F**k About Anything Except for the Destruction of Israel’ Vision have apologised to residents for an event earlier today that included an inappropriate costume. The council leader and deputy have expressed their strong condemnation to Vision for this costume and the offence it has caused. https://t.co/m5sjTWhvLE The library said that the purpose of the event was to provide “caregivers [with] fun, family-friendly activities, maintain literacy levels and create a safe space for children to connect with their peers.” In the early days, Batman included a concealed blade knife [1] and some chemicals on his boots, for emergencies. The boots' soles were coated with some special powder, which caused the foot prints left behind to shine when exposed to infra-red light. [32]During Batman's first appearances, he had no base of operations such as the Batcave and instead, he would store the batsuit in a wooden chest in Wayne Manor. [6] After Alfred joined the Bat-Family, the Batsuit was usually kept in drawers, just like the rest of Bruce's clothing. [76] A short time later, Bruce placed all his Batsuits on a special room in the Batcave and no longer kept them anywhere in Wayne Manor. [16]
