About this deal

Unfortunately, there are no ear detection features. If you want to stop music, you must press the button or control it via the Soundcore app on mobile. Anker Life A3i With The Battery Life You can also customize the sound profiles for different activities, so you can have the perfect sound for whatever you’re doing. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices. Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling

You can also customise the button controls. I am pretty happy with the App. and it's compatible with android and IOS. ANC These comfortable and well-built buds have a warm sound profile out of the box, but you can fine-tune their sound to suit your tastes using their companion app's graphic EQ and presets. You can also use the app to switch to LDAC codec to stream Hi-Res content. That said, their mic has poor recording quality. The mic captures speech that sounds far away and sibilant, which can be a dealbreaker if you take a lot of calls. However, if you're just looking to listen to music, these wallet-friendly earbuds are worth a look.

Lineup

Soundcore’s app can make somewhat of a difference in EQing the bass a little. Customized sound can only do so much though. These are definitely a better fit for those who enjoy sub-bass and bass-heavy genres. With the default EQ, you shouldn’t expect the most accurate sound from the A3i earbuds when playing music. Digital Assistant Let's get to the bass later, because the variation between Soundcore products is not so much in the bass. It's in the higher frequencies. There have been quite a few variables by now. Highs have been airy ( Soundcore Spirit Dot 2), too sharp ( Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro), vibrant with a metallic underlining ( Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro) or hitting the sweet spot ( Soundcore Life P3) - to name a few. If you Ask me about its ANC, I would say fantastic for the given price. It eliminates the noise like engines, Air conditioners and the noises with mid and low frequencies. They aren't much effective against sudden noises but overall they are fantastic in this department. I am satisfied with these. Call quality

You can switch from between ANC on, ANC off and the Transparency mode on the Life Dot 3i/ Life A3i by holding the side button. The functions are indicated by beeps that are too much alike, but the Active Noise Cancelling itself is great. TheSoundcore Life A3ihas a unique oval shape that is both comfortable to wear for long periods of time and stylish. This shape and the rubber ear tips make them a good fit for any activity, whether you’re working out or just relaxing at home. The first of the relevant upgrades was an increase in driver size. The Life A3i utilizes 10 mm, drivers, while the A1is made do with 8 mm. This improved upon the lush sound of the previous gen, and I’ve been nothing but pleased with their quality. The Soundcore Life A3i is perhaps the biggest rival to the Soundcore A20i. It only costs around 15 dollars more, and adds solid Active Noise Cancelling that really helps to soften your surroundings - whether you're listening to music or not. What's more, is that the sound is better than Soundcore's other budget offerings like the Soundcore Life A1, the Life P3i, Life P2 mini and Life P2i. Compared to the A20i, the mid-bass is even weightier with deeper-hitting thumps. The Life A3i is stronger in the treble area too, putting more effort into higher-pitched vocals and higher instruments - but also letting in a bit more sharpness. The A20i is better in lower-mids; it resolves more (albeit darker-toned) details from acoustic instruments; the A3i is a bit cleaner there. Noise cancellation is more like noise reduction, but they do drop the ambient noise down when some sound being played. As a comparison, although considerably more expensive, my Bose over ear phones do noise cancel as soon as they are powered up without playing sound. These buds don't seem to do that. The touch controls of the Soundcore A20i mark one of their only issues. While the touch panels respond well to your input and you can setup the controls the way you want via the free Soundcore app for Android and iPhone, it takes a little while before your commands are followed up.

Meanwhile - and this is where the JBL-comparison really comes up - female and higher male vocals are taken apart from the rest of the treble. They sound prominent, but have a smooth, warm undertone, preventing the occasional thinness voices sometimes have in this sound signature.

Where to Buy

You can customize their sound using their companion app's graphic EQ and presets. Like their truly wireless counterpart, the Anker Soundcore Space A40 Truly Wireless, they even support LDAC codec, making them a solid choice for Hi-Res audio content. They offer multi-device and NFC pairing, so connecting them to your smartphone or laptop is easy. I would highly recommend these headphones to anyone looking for a great pair of true wireless earbuds on a budget. They are also a great option for those who like headphones with deep bass. The Soundcore Life A3i has impressive 36-hour battery life, a fun sound signature, and a comfortable design. You add active noise canceling earbuds and you’re getting a lot of value at this price. Sound then? The Life P3i has a stronger bass thump that is more in-your-face. Vocals stand out more, they're more forward compared to the Life A3i - in which they stay more in line with center- and lower-mids. The Life A3i puts center-mids more in the spotlight, accentuating guitars and piano play better, while the Life P3i happily boosts the lower-mids some more. These center-mids give the A3i an advantage - it reveals more details from instruments and makes for a more natural sound. The sound signatures may not differ too much, but these details are the difference between P3i's good sound, and A3i's great sound. The A3is represent my first pair of noise-canceling buds. And without hyperbole, it was nothing less than an audio revelation. After several workouts and lunches around some rather, shall we say, unruly kids, I might be ruined for anything less. It doesn’t exactly drown out the world, but it puts it a comfortable distance away. Although not all of their headphones support this codec, a couple of their latest headphones, like the Anker Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro Truly Wireless, support LDAC, designed for Hi-Res audio. Support for this codec is also uncommon in truly wireless headphones.
