The content and presentation of SRT continue to be INCREDIBLE. Still don’t prefer the new app, but it’s better than when it was first rolled out. The CSB She Reads Truth Bible aims to live at the intersection of beauty, goodness, and Truth. Featuring devotionals by the She Reads Truth team, and Scripture reading plans that include supplemental passages for deeper understanding, this Bible invites every woman to count themselves among the She Reads Truth community of "Women in the Word of God every day." The CSB She Reads Truth Bible also features 66 key verses, artfully lettered to aid in Scripture memorization.

We are women of all ages and stages of life, from all over the world, gathering around this virtual table to feast on the truth of the Gospel of Jesus. Never heard of it? Well, its fairly new, but a great translation that remains true to the text (much like the ESV), but very readable to the modern reader. She Reads Truth is a worldwide community of women who read the Bible together every day. Founded in 2012, She Reads Truth invites women of all ages to engage with Scripture through daily reading plans, online conversation led by a vibrant community of contributors, and offline resources created at the intersection of beauty, goodness, and Truth.

Listen: if you can get past the issues with the app itself, the product is pretty awesome...but honestly, how sad is it to have to say that? I think the app needs a rehaul or, at the very least, to be tweaked to be more user friendly. I love SRT and would love to start using the app again! Whether your Truth time comes in the early morning before the world wakes, during a lunch break at your desk, or in the middle of the night with a baby in your arms—the She Reads Truth app brings your quiet (or not so quiet) time to you, right where you are. No interlinear notes — Unlike some other study Bibles this one doesn’t have the amount of cross references or study notes as many do. If you’re looking for more in depth explanation of passages in a verse by verse passage–this probably isn’t going to be the study Bible for you. Or it may be one of a couple that you use! (Like I do!) The colors are carefully selected for each book to help teach us about the genre we are reading — green is history and pink is poetry. That is pretty nifty! It is color with purpose! And this is across the board, maps, dividers – you name it they have paid attention to making the interaction visually stimulating. She Reads Truth is concerned for women to be prepared to read their Bibles

I love SRT. There was a time when I would use it daily. But sadly, that just isn’t the case anymore. This is great if you’re a visual learner, but the aesthetics will make most women get excited to be in her Bible. Room for writing. This Bible gives you plenty of margin space on both sides for writing. The extra white space is nice visually or you can choose to fill it up with notes, questions, and verses.Timelines throughout the reading are really helpful in following along with the big story of the Bible chronologically and how different books fit together. Instead, it seemed to have tried to make it look prettier and more streamlined without making it any easier to use. If anything, it’s more complicated. I can’t seem to find anything or change my information. I keep hearing rumblings of a part of the app that plays music but I can’t find it (it was mentioned in the Hymn devos a few times). If that part of the app is no longer available, that’s fine but why keep it in the devos? Nothing seems to work properly and I kind of stopped using the app because of it. Which is honestly a shame. Beauty, goodness, and truth. The She Reads Truth Bible embodies all of the aspects of the She Reads Truth community. Featuring devotional readings written by the She Reads Truth team, this Bible invites women to engage with God's Word every day. Bible reading plans for individual books and for the whole Bible help readers dive into the text with an easy to follow guided reading plan. Again. I love the content of SRT. I love the studies. I love the aesthetic (though not so much of this new app—it’s too harsh for me—but if that’s what you want then it’s fine). It’s very confusing to me why the app was changed so much, taking away good functionality and maneuvering.
