The thing on the side of the product is the thermostat to measure the room so won't be able to be pressed. I bought direct from Devola online but when trying to register the heaters for the extra 1 year warranty they offer they needed various product numbers which I did not have to hand( I installed them in our holiday cottage an hour away) but they claimed to have no record or details of the products they sent out.

Company shipped the unit fast and while they put what they thought was adequate packing around it there was unfortunately slight damage to the plastic around the base where the courier had blatantly dropped it off the back of a van. This is a lovely little fire, after looking at many and finding them to wide I found this one, I mainly wanted it for a feature more than to actually use it although I do like using the flickering glow on it.
