Just because resources exist for people like me who suffer from our own minds doesn’t mean it’s easily accessible. The fact that he was a virgin made him even more perfect in my eyes, it's definitely something we don't see enough in a hero but i'm so here for it.

Even as a young chid he always tried to protect Ivy and made sure she had somewhere to go when things were tough at home. I think the author tried to do far too much in one story and I was disappointed with her family coming back into it. i didnt hate her but her character definitely annoyed me at times with her constantly pushing aiden away. Someone once said that if you liked the Off Campus/Briar U series By: Elle Kennedy or just sports romances in general, you would like this book, and let me just say this book exceeded my expectations and more! Mainly the heroine overcoming her difficult past and really trying to figure out a life for herself.

Seeing Aiden reach out to Ivy and try befriending her again made me nostalgic for them because, them having known each other since they were kids showed that long ago they were each other’s support system. Ivy was the perfect main character because she symbolizes a very common person in our world today that no one wants to talk about. childhood friends (to enemies ish) to lovers is one of my all time favorite tropes and this was done absolutely perfectly.

Ivy wasn’t your typical happy-go-lucky character, if anything she was tough and thought of her life as just existing, not living.
