I surprisingly find myself missing the lavender as it added an airier nuance to it, and I definitely miss the vanilla which made Cloud feel so feminine and gourmand. Even though the whipped cream and coconut and praline give it a lovely sweet touch, it still remains sweet in a light and watery way, not a thick or overpowering sweetness. This and the original are the closest things I’ve ever smelled to baccarat rouge 540, and I have a hard time telling the difference. I was wearing a sweatshirt that day, and days later I found myself smelling that same sweatshirt and it smelled delightful.

Not to say they aren’t extremely similar but if I’m being picky, that’s the only thing I’d say is different but they are hardly noticeable if you don’t own both. on days where i don't feel like i need to stand out smell-wise and i don't want to use up my more special fragrances, i will bust this one out. was still a pretty safe bet, since I fully intended to repurchase the original version in the biggest size anyway. Cloud OG is like the daytime white sugar version and cloud IN is like the nighttime brown sugar version. Cloud Intense definitely smells a lot cosier and smoother, the sharp bite from the lavender is toned down and the milky whipped cream and warm praline are amped up. I honestly don't understand how Intense has cashmeran and ambroxan while Cloud supposedly doesn't, because the original absolutely smells like it has both to me. I own several fragrances from the Ariana Grande line and while some find them juvenile, I love the soft, sweet, subtle (compared to many) gourmand scents.

It's this cozy, airy, fluffy, creamy, woody scent that does remind me of a cloud and what it'd be like to be enveloped in one. I wish I had the pleasure of having tested BR540, because I would love to be able to compare it to this.I'm not a huge fan of the weird cloud holder but I do like that the bottle is opaque in the sense that it is shielded from light a bit better. Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive. wanted to love this as I'm usually a huge fan of sweets and coconut, but there's something insidiously synthetic and nauseating about this one. There is also something in the dry down that I can't pin down that I don't love and that I didn't experience with the original Cloud.

I read reviews for a few days to see if it was much different compared to the original and a few reviews mentioned it being sweeter so, I went for it. It reminds of the first whiff of Burberry Her and has a tiny bit of perfumey-nes floating in the background like Her Elixir. I do notice subtle amber-infused woods in the background, and something that seems like sea salt as the fragrance begins to dry down - sharp musk mixing with the lavender? I honestly don't think I'd be able to tell the difference on someone else if I walked past them and they were wearing either one of these. Top notes are Lavender, Pear and Bergamot; middle notes are Whipped Cream, Praline, Coconut and Vanilla Orchid; base notes are Cashmeran, Ambroxan, Musk and Woodsy Notes.

It's already in my top 2 favourite Ariana Grande fragrances behind its more exclusive sister, Sweet Like Candy Limited Edition.
