About this deal

The Visitors" has been reissued in digitally remastered form three times: first in 1997, then in 2001 and again in 2005 as part of "The Complete Studio Recordings" Box Set.

Where "il" should appear, "Õ" appears instead, hence "Ring Ring (Engelsk VersŠn)" and "EuropafÕm StudŠ". Throughout the process, Andersson and Ulvaeus operated under the notion that if a song didn't live up to their standards, they were under no pressure to release it; they already had two songs they liked in the can for ABBAtars. It is ABBA's first number-one album since "ABBA Gold", which topped the chart in 1992, 1999 and 2008. Then again, ABBA was never an audiophile band—the group was recorded and mixed for radios, cheap record players, and the mass market.Certain items can take longer to source than the estimated week, particularly during busy trading periods and may take longer to arrive at our warehouse. The version of "Voyage" is identical to the standard issue 2021 LP, except vinyl is 180gr heavyweight. They get a little closer to their winning formula on the catchy, Folky-textured Pop song "Hasta Mañana", which sounds like a lost Mary Hopkin number. It opened with 82 000 album-equivalent units, including 78 000 album sales (60 500 of which were physical), making it the highest-selling album of the week.

LP8 replicates the incorrect durations on labels that appeared on early copies of original LP: 8A5 3. Voyage" debuted atop the charts of Australia, Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK. If ABBA didn't have cheese ball moments, they wouldn't be ABBA, so it's reassuring that the group brings the lows along with the highs on this unexpected and delightful album!

Presenting ABBA’s trademark mix of songs with different characteristics and temperatures, the group’s main lead vocalists, Agnetha and Frida, sang their way through the album with passion and energy, expertly interpreting the music and lyrics painstakingly worked out by Björn and Benny. Dance (While the Music Still Goes On)" is on the money as the embodiment of the Euro-Disco sound that the group would embrace on their future albums, although it also hints at a vague oldie sound, with a melody that somehow reminds this listener of both the Four Seasons' "Dawn" and the Beach Boys' "Don't Worry Baby.

Many had weird scuffs on the records and lots of small paper clippings and debris inside the sleeves. The latter record, ABBA Tracks, features the five A-side singles not included on the original studio albums, a selection of B-sides, plus a rare track, “Put On Your White Sombrero,” that first saw the light of day in the late 90s. The album has been reissued in digitally remastered form three times; first in 1997, then in 2001 and again in 2005. When ABBA’s sixth studio album was released on April 23, 1979, it was an immediate success, shooting to the upper regions of the charts all over the planet.

The 180g vinyl edition is said to “mirror the spec” of the previously released The Studio Albums vinyl box, although that was an 8LP set (no bonus album or, of course, Voyage) and was coloured vinyl rather than black, so it mirrors the spec apart from when it doesn’t. Their sixth album coincided with the marital split between Agnetha Fältskog and Björn Ulvaeus and the massively shifting currents in Popular music, with Disco, which had been on the wane, suddenly undergoing a renaissance thanks to the 1977 movie S"aturday Night Fever". Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). The intention was to keep working together, but Andersson and Ulvaeus' growing involvement with their stage project, Chess, prevented any further work together by the group beyond three songs, "The Day Before You Came", "Cassandra", and "Under Attack" - they're all present as bonus tracks on the 2001 remastered edition, along with the orphaned B-side "Should I Laugh or Cry" from the same sessions as "The Visitors", and only add to the appeal of the original album.
