Yes, we had more answers about what really happened between them in the past, but still, almost nothing about the present. The way everything has come together…I don’t know how everything is going to wrap up in one more book…and even once it’s wrapped up…I have a feeling I’m going to want more from Charlie and Silas. This time we get to see snippets of Silas and Charlies past, through letters written to each other, or journal entries. Gradually, they try to piece together the missing memories, but they end up uncovering a whole bunch of stuff they weren’t expecting. Part 1 was about the mystery, Part 2 was about finding Charlie and as for Part 3, for the most part was heavily centred on the romance aspect – very clichéd and lovey dovey, if you asked me.

Maybe it’s because we get more of him in Part Two then we do in Part One…maybe it’s because of everything that’s happening, he’s kind of turning into the accidental hero if you will, but everything he’s saying and doing is just wonderful and I can’t get enough of it. Charlie is in trouble, and he must be the one to bridge the chasm between their past and their present. The characters have become more mature and likable and I really loved reading the letters and the shifting POVs of the MCs. I can’t go into reviewing Part 2 without revealing the major cliff hanger in the last book, so just to warn you if you haven’t read it.I absolutely loved it, of course the writing was compelling, it had to be with two incredible authors, and that made the story even more gripping. Despite the fact that this story continues to get more and more far-fetched, I found myself listening the audiobook intently.

Together, Silas Nash and Charlize Wynwood must look deeper into the past to find out who they were and who they want to be. There definitely is potential here, but I think it would work so much better as a full novel where we’ll get answer in one go. Charlie’s is a very strong, independent female who doesn’t allow her vulnerability, which she considers as a weakness to reflect on her face, not even when Silas is around.I think people expected a more sinister book with a morbid ending from the two of our minds, but instead, we wrote a mildly creepy love story about the power of soul mates that can be read by most ages.
