About this deal

At least I know now I didn't waste my money on BtF and a backup bottle of it since it doesn't have an accurate clone. The fragrance is linear and reveals itself within the first 15 minutes of the fragrances, so not much in terms of transitions, but WOW, what an enchanting scent! Performance and longevity it is above average but it does not remind me of a fireplace or anything similar. I bought it because I fell in love with By the Fireplace in Sephora and saw that this was a cheap dupe. It’s probably my fault that I did not listen to the reviews saying this is more of a male scent, but since I love all the notes mentioned (and I expected it to be heavy on the vanilla), I blind bought this one.

The clones are getting so good now, and some even outdo the thing they're cloning so you're paying for the bottle in some cases - for example I don't much like Aventus, yet I've come across two Aventus clones I'd say are better than the Creed original. I've had this for two years now and this fragrance holds the title of the only Lattafa I still own and like, I've decluttered two, and sampled about another 5. com perfumes magazine - All Rights Reserved - do not copy anything without prior written permission.Warm vanilla, sweet oud 🤤 I have “By the Fireplace” in my collection, and they have some similarities, but this lacks the smokiness from BTF. Look I’m not an expert so maybe I was just picking up the oud in each frag, but I’d say this definitely smells a lot more like Oud Save The King than it does By The Fireplace. It makes me wonder how Lattafa can afford to make these great scents with nice presentations and sell them for so cheap.

I sprayed it on my hand and after about an hour, and washing my hands, the scent really smoothed out and a lot of the harsh incense smell went away and it took on a creamy smell. I originally wasn't to sure when I read that many of these middle eastern fragrance need time for maceration, but now I'm a believer. It's definitely smoky, but there's enough sweetness to keep me from feeling like I've escaped a house fire. This perfume has also changed over time, on top I could smell a really sharp and aggressive saffron now which I really didn't picked up before. Do not let the snobs convince you that you need to spend a fortune to smell good and get a bottle with a fancy brand. Like many designer fragrances that turn out utterly weak and unlike a sample or a friend's bottle, brands sadly no longer take the time to strengthen their juice before selling as a means to save money/up their profits. It was almost 100F with just 7% humidity today, and this scent stuck with me for 8+ hours without reapplication.

The clean sweet oud here is noticeably present but not overwhelmingly so, being superbly executed, much a result of the composition's truly exceptional blending. Haven’t smelled By The Fireplace because they didn’t have the tester at Sephora, so I don’t know if this smells similar. There is a weird in-between point in the dry down where it goes from the initial sweetness to the woods where it just smells like a chemical jumble. I got surprised by the smell (in a good way) When just sprayed it leaned into more of a femenine fragrance to me, drying down it slowly gets that unisex vibe. edneyheleneusa, Same mistake as with all fragrances, and ALL tend to do, by over-spraying, THAT, is what gives people a headache, and not just yourself!I don't know what it smells like notes-wise other than sweet, salty, smokey and roasted, because it's very synthetic-smelling. I have tested them on test strips right next to reach other, and I am currently wearing both, Lattafa on the left, Replica on the right. Transitioning into the heart, the vanilla sweetens further, and takes on an additional faintly creamy tone, which is supported by the creamy sandalwood in the base. Even if I intend on smelling something different, most of the time I still end up choosing to wear Ameer Al Oudh Intense over everything else. Definitely very interesting and I don't hate it but like I said earlier, that floral note really caught me off guard.

I got this because I am desperately looking for a long-lasting dupe of By The Fireplace and this is NOTHING like it. Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud, is addictive, tasty, and surrounds you with a woody and sweet mist, soft, but persistent. and I can say that they might live in neighboring suburbs, but they most certainly do not live on the same street. Of course there is absolutely no oud at all but it seems that is an obligation to put the word oud on every arabian style perfume and it's enough for a lot of reviewer to imagine smelling some. Let me first say that I can't support or deny the claim that this is a dupe for Replicas By the Fireplace.I'll update again when I can't smell it anymore but for now it's absolutely radiant, perfect for a cool crisp winter or autumn day. So if u can just ignore the opening of this fragrance (it's very ambery strong and something a little weird, reminded me of Bentley Intense lmao) then I 100% recommend atleast trying it. The fragrance projects a long way without being over powering but I would use a moderate number of sprays. Its bold and pronounced sillage weaves a captivating presence, making it an ideal companion for winter wear. Ameer al oudh intense oud is a really good sweet, woodsy fragrance with that subtle scent of roasted marshmallows when drying down.
