One of Brazil’s favourite Cachaça, Velho Barreiro is delicate on the nose but powerful earthy tones come through when you sip. In its earliest days, Shenk’s produced whiskey from rye grain, a favourite local crop in the Pennsylvania Blue Mountain Valley where the distillery was located.Distinctive and immediately recognisable, Amaro Montenegro beings with syrupy sweetness and then notes of mild bitters and botanical essences begin to take over, leading to a citrusy end note. The green handled bottle makes it stand out from the crowd but it’s the perfumed flavour and orange-rich character which really make this gin sing. ABV) is a truly small-batch premium whiskey from the Michter's Distillery, made using only the finest ingredients and traditional techniques.

The whole holds its note perfectly, intensively, with just a subtle, elegant hint of underlying bitterness. A Spanish gin that is one of only two gins in the world with its own EU Designation of Origin, Xorigeur is based on an 18th century recipe and was popular with the sailors at that time.

FINISH - The richness remains, but there’s freshness in the form of Black Pepper that delivers a kick of Spicy Zing. Ripe marrow and fresh orchard fruit aromas are all present in the nose but when enjoyed neatthe flavour is crisp and clean, with a rounded flavour profile which once again allows the sweet vegetal notes to shine. The passage of Prohibition in 1919 forced the distillery, along with other American spirits producers, to shut its doors to the public.
