About this deal

Where some of the stories see the characters make do with their attribute or place them in a situation where this attribute is a convenience, this story takes a more traditional approach where the character must change their ways.

All in all this book could have been about not sharing or many other things, but they choose to go about it this way, and I don't think it was the right choice at all. That this is only book two in a series of fifty, should serve to fill any reader with a wild anticipation and appetite for the other unexpected delights that Roger Hargreaves may have yet to serve. Her work bridges the intersection of sex and politics and has been featured by CNN, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, and more. Community is built through a joint of understanding of knowing we all are the same even if we are far apart in the world and never meet one another, this book brings that feeling to the comfort of your home. It, too, was made into a television series in 1983, which was narrated by John Alderton, who, with Pauline Collins, voiced the Men and Misses, respectively.

Each essay feels more like a conversation with a friend as you get to know them better and better through silly anecdotes and tough traumas. full of white woman virtue signaling and insufferable narration, but at times (few times, but still) really hits the nail on the head. except it wasn't funny as its true although we will give it to you char that she IS also the dog walker, crap picker uperer and general unemployed scivvy in the greedy household.

If this book existed when I was in middle school, my understanding of myself would have happened more naturally. It reminded me of how in the old days if a father caught his son smoking, he would have him smoke the whole pack to teach him a lesson. I’m grateful to Roger Hargreaves for brightening up my childhood with both his Mr Men and the Timbuctoo series of books. She went to 'best friend in the world love you to the moon and back Stacey solomons' wedding, made a big song and dance about how her and hinch were now best bubs aswell, we are still awaiting the evidence. But this isn't just any memoir; it's also an educational examination that delves into identity, cultural misunderstandings of bisexuality and the microaggressions that come along with that, why coming out bi has specific challenges, and more.

As someone who identifies as bisexual, it was refreshing to hear another talk about the issues that arise dealing with both the hetero and queer communities. And — just as some great friendships offer — this book also lands like a personal meditation, reflecting on the kinds of questions, challenges, and social dynamics that have surrounded my life since childhood and through adulthood. This is such an easy read - the pages just slipped through my fingers with ease as I eagerly turned each page - I read it all in a few hours. The book follows Jen’s attempts to make sense of herself as she explores the role of the male gaze, what it means to be “queer enough,” and how to overcome bi stereotypes when you’re the poster-child for all of them: greedy, slutty, and constantly confused. I was especially interested in hearing more about that journey, especially as it's compared to the flux and fluidity of bisexuality.

I found Jen Winston's forthcoming memoir so resonant that I eventually had to stop underlining it because the book was looking ridiculous. International products have separate terms, are sold from abroad and may differ from local products, including fit, age ratings, and language of product, labeling or instructions. Interesting formatting in some of the essays and footnotes made the whole experience just as visually interesting and I felt educated even as I laughed along to some of Winston’s cringe childhood moments that mirrored my own.
