i think part of the reason i love this scent so much is personal intimate reasons and my gf loving it just as much. The fragrance has some important opening to dry-down changes, first, the opening is brief, unimpressive and mostly citrus and green, these notes are short-lived, in just a moment the vanilla comes up with a sweet aromatic note, then the Guaiac Wood develops adding a projecting and leathery note, finally the sandalwood and amber add a sweet resinous touch. The vanilla is listed as a base note but its sweetness and aroma are noticeable as soon as the fragrance is applied; the Guaiac Wood becomes noticeable, it develops quickly turning into a leathery and projecting note. so since this has been and most likely always will be my most favorite fragrance for sentimental reasons mainly (i own a collection of about 75 bottles) id like to review it in case anyone is contemplating pulling the trigger.
