Description

Team Objective. Players are divided into two teams, and must capture the enemy team's ASE. Similar to "capture the flag", but with the ASE. Prometheus informs Michael that the Trust now plan to kill the President to gain complete control of America. Ford makes his way into the White House, encountering Drudge and Trust forces at every turn. He gets news from Prometheus that the president is being evacuated and is trapped by the Drudge on Marine One, the president's private chopper. Ford encounters several new types of Drudge, including the flying Skimmers and the more heavily armed Scarab. Ford manages to free the helicopter from the Drudge forces and it flies away to safety. But Prometheus intercepts a conversation between the President and Mr. Adams saying that the President has given the Trust almost unlimited control of the nation's resources after the stellar performance of one of Adam's "agents" (Ford) at the White House.

The Conduit online co-op being considered, sequel to be started right away, more". Nintendo Everything. September 3, 2008 . Retrieved September 6, 2008. The Conduit has a system that lets players join random matches by selecting one of the following preferences: Friends, which lets you join or create private matches with people added as friends; Regional, which searches for player in the players region; or World Wide, which searches for players around the world. After the player has chosen one of those options, they can chose one of the three game categories (Free-For-All, Team Reaper, and Team Objective) and they will join a match with a gametype in the category they chose. [7] After the match is over, players can vote for the next game's map, weapon set, and rules.

Despite the matchmaking system only working on ‘hours played’ rather than actual skill level, many matches will end up being quite close. Unfortunately, The Conduit often suffers from lag, not to an unplayable extent but people will sometimes die several seconds after they’ve been shot, or players may appear to kill each other at the exact same time. The usually smooth framerate also dips online, and the movements of other players will seem jerky and unpredictable.a b Robinson, Martin (June 17, 2009). "The Conduit Slips". IGN. Firstly, the controls are completely customisable, secondly human enemies are not limited to basic human weapons (the orange suited guys have advanced guns right from the start) a b "The Conduit at Nintendo". Nintendo of America. Archived from the original on April 16, 2009 . Retrieved April 2, 2009.At all times, Ford will have two guns at his disposal. He can swap these for any others he finds dropped by enemies or lying around levels. In most cases it's handy to have a high-damage accurate weapon for small encounters and a rapid-firing weapon for large enemy groups, but you can mix and match and see what you like. He can also throw grenades, of which various types exist. Naturally you've got the regular bouncy frag grenades which explode after a few seconds, but you've also got flash grenades which temporarily stun the enemy, and radiation grenades, which explode as soon as they hit anything (Including the ground) and leave behind a temporary glowing ball of radiation which damages anything that comes close. a b Casamassina, Matt (July 25, 2008). They declared that The Conduit was an enjoyable first-person shooter on a platform nearly void of them. They also praised the online multiplayer, claiming "...it works like it should".
